We adhere to the Specialty List (SL) of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) and the latest indications set by pharmaceutical manufacturers.
ViaSlim is a recognized outpatient medical institution with official telemedicine approval from the Canton of Zurich. Additionally, we hold a licensed operating permit for nutrition counseling and are among the first telemedicine-approved providers in Switzerland for treating overweight and obesity.

ViaSlim offers a transparent and fair pricing model:
1️⃣ Membership Fee
• A monthly fee applies for using the ViaSlim App and its features. (We are working on insurance reimbursement for this in the future.)
2️⃣ Consultation Costs
• Medical consultations and nutrition counseling are billed separately via Swiss mandatory health insurance (OKP).
• Patients may also choose to self-pay for medical services.
3️⃣ Medication Costs & Reimbursement
• GLP-1 medications are prescribed based on medical evaluation and billed separately.
• Patients can choose free home delivery via our pharmacy partner.
✅ Insurance reimbursement support:
• If you qualify, we handle the entire reimbursement application process with your insurer.
Coverage depends on specific criteria:

💊 Wegovy® (Semaglutide) may be covered under these conditions:
• BMI ≥ 35 or
• BMI ≥ 28 with weight-related health conditions (e.g., Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea).

Yes, if you have an HMO model: You’ll need a referral from your GP. However, you can sign up first, and we’ll provide the necessary referral form for your doctor.

Yes. We require recent lab tests (within the last 6 months) including:
