ViaSlim is digital first, but with real locations in Zurich, Bern and now Basel-Binningen. 90% of our patients' care happens via our app, by video and chat. For the remaining 10%, there's you.
Physical examination, BIA scan, blood sampling, injection training, the personal conversation: that happens in our practice in Basel-Binningen. This combination sets us apart from pure telemedicine providers and from classic practices.
We combine GLP-1 therapies (Wegovy®, Mounjaro®), nutrition counselling and behavioural therapy in one seamless treatment that exists nowhere else in Switzerland.
And now the crucial point: our patients achieve real, measurable change. On average 14% weight loss after 24 weeks. Because people like you accompany them.
Your role: you are the face of ViaSlim in Basel
You're not “the MPA at reception”. You're the first person our patients meet in real life after knowing us only through a screen for weeks. You're the person who decides whether a patient sticks with it or gives up.
You don't just welcome people, you guide them through the process. You don't just measure, you explain what the numbers mean. You don't work in an isolated practice, you're part of a highly functional, hybrid treatment team of physicians, nutrition counsellors and Care Team, on site in Binningen and digitally Switzerland-wide.
What you'll actually do
- You're the anchor on site (practice & diagnostics) You look after our patients in the practice in Basel-Binningen: BIA scan, vital signs, blood sampling, injection training for GLP-1 therapies, preparing and assisting with medical examinations. You make sure the practice visit isn't an obligation but a highlight in the course of treatment.
- You hold everything together (communication & triage) Between appointments you're the point of contact for your patients via app, chat or video. You recognise what is medically relevant, route it purposefully to physicians or specialists and stay in constant contact.
- You orchestrate the treatment (care coordination) Prescriptions, labs, check-ups, follow-ups. Nothing slips through. Everything interlocks, everything runs at the right time. You plan the practice days in Binningen so they work seamlessly for patients and physicians.
- You think like a practice, only better (practice management) Documentation, processes, supplies, quality. Structured, clean, forward-looking. You help build the Basel location and shape how it runs. Not reactive, but in control.
- You activate people (counselling & education) You help patients truly stick with it. You explain GLP-1, nutrition and behaviour in plain language, in the consulting room and in the chat. You motivate without pressure and get people into action.
- You give our voice a face (social media) You help make real questions visible. You bring practice experience into our content, support content and community, and show what modern care in Basel really looks like.
What you should bring
You're a good fit if you don't just want a job, but responsibility:
- MPA EFZ (certified medical practice assistant), Pflege HF (registered nurse), FaGe (healthcare assistant), nutrition counselling or comparable training
- Experience in the Swiss healthcare system
- Confident with blood sampling, vital signs and practice workflows
- Confident with digital tools (you don't have to be a tech pro, but curious)
- Clear, empathetic and reliable in communication, in person and in the chat
- You work independently and would rather help shape things than just execute
Bonus points (not a must): Experience with obesity, GLP-1 or diabetes. Experience with BIA measurements. French or Italian.
